That's assuming the government doesn't have the keys.
Let's all chuckle at that one.

WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!
Hmmm, that's at least one round needed to be bought at 2AM at some Rochester bar.
I don't know if I have ever eaten a mango.
I have eaten (or should I say EATON today) mango ice cream and water ice.
Actually, I think I get it now.
Server 2012R2 by itself = regular server
Then you "install" Hyper-V
The "original regular" server becomes another VM on top of Hyper-V, but can technically be used for nothing.
Very cool.
When is the first ML themed beer releasing?

The last time someone did that their server crashed.
It was a fishing article, if I remember.

Can you confirm who the interns are so that everyone knows who they are?
Can we be nasty to non interns who make mistakes?
LOL.
Note to self:
Star Wars/Spaceballs mentions are a good way to bump up the reply rate in one's thread.

What a horrible conclusion. I'm sure something smilar may be true with heroin... but they can't test that because its not a publically acceptable killer drug like alcohol.
Not to mention, the numerous other health risks of drinking.
How do you really feel?

As we have seen this past fortnight, Windows licensing can be a pretty big deal. Eliminating all of the licensing overhead completely can be pretty big.
You are welcome.

As others, i dont know how i missed this.
As one of the few remaining XS guys i suppose i need to start looking for other options now.I'd say XS is still a decent product if it does everything you need. They've just been hobbling it more and more over the years, it's hard to like a product that keeps taking basic functionality away.
I have had ZERO issues with it since it was suggested to me.
I have to say I started setting up Hyper-V yesterday, and what a PITA compared to XS/XC/XO.
Thanks, everyone.
Scott invited me, and I am glad to be here.
I'm the IT guy in a smallish shop, so I'm always on the hunt for knowledge.
And @shannon is great support if you need it.
Reporting that for a friend.

Where's an experimental physicist who's built a time machine? Why do I have a feeling we all feel the same way!?
If there was one anywhere it would be here on ML.
With all of the talk about SOHO/SMB using the cloud and not even owning a NAS/server, what are some recommendations/reviews of cloud storage for these companies?
I know someone at one point mentioned DropBox for Business.
I'm looking for something that will sync files locally, and integrate and emulate as close as possible what the user is used to now.
I've had some issues with some of these services (such as OneDrive), but it was on the personal level.
(My OneDrive issue was on a new installtion of Windows. It was on a tablet, and automaticaly installed itself. I delted some files and .... oops, gone from One Drive cloud as well. I'm assuming that the business products ar emore robut and have backup copies available.)
Talk to me!

That is a LONG ride, but there is a lot of pretty scenary and Amtrak is very comfortable. Be usre to get the Amtrak app for your phone, makes things much easier.
It was either that or drive.
By the time I drive to PHL, get there early, etc., etc., it's not worth it.
So, armed with my fledgling knowledge of Microsoft licensing, I reached out to our software vendor today, who confused me again.
I'd like to start a thread here of what I know, piece, by piece. If it is correct, I will move on. If it is not, we'll correct and adjust.
BASE KNOWLEDGE:
An OS (whether desktop or server) can only be licensed in two ways. OEM or retail, which is known as FPP.
