    • TPM vs PTT

      Hi,

I'm kind of confused, just discovered that TPM and PTT are 2 different security. The reason why I asked this is because I've been trying to setup Bitlocker on a Surface Book for almost a week, can't figure out why it doesn't prompts or lets you create a PIN. The reason is because new models like Surface Book's has the TPM chip embedded on their motherboards. Can PTT do that as well? I mean, I just checked my laptop and there's a PTT but I can't do Bitlocker on my laptop, it says incompatible TPM.

      Thanks
      Jeff

    • monitoring of Fortigate firewall

Hi, new to this community and just want to start of with a troubleshooting discussion. I've started using Zabbix network monitoring and for me, it is a good product. I've installed Zabbix release 3.2 installed it together with its prerequisites and it has been up and running.

Tried to add some of our servers since Zabbix already have templates for different OS. Up until I need to monitor our office's firewall. It is a Fortigate 100D, and as my research goes, it advised me to import its templates and do some modifications on some of the templates like doing value mapping, etc.

I can now monitor the CPU, Memory and sessions of the FG100D except for the interfaces (WAN1, WAN2, LAN, etc). Did my research again and found out about this article

      https://github.com/jjmartres/Zabbix/tree/master/zbx-templates/zbx-fortinet/zbx-fortinet-interfaces

Followed the instructions based on the URL but up until now, I don't see any interface monitoring on the host.

      Anyone did this before?

      Thanks
      Jeff
