Teen Complains About New Job On Twitter and loses her job before even starting. How dumb does she have to be? Seriously. Of course he fired her. You'd have to be an idiot to employ that girl. What does it say for any company that even bothers to interview her in the future? This shows that she is both ungrateful as well as being an idiot.

Hold up Scott! She is an idot for posting bad remarks about a job online, but she may have accidently did something smart. I just read her tweets and she has people from around the world telling her she is known in their country. She can now bank on her popularity. Only if she knows how to work the system.

Did you CRC/MD5 check the ISO? You have a bad ISO most likely.

Jared I think you may be right. I just d/l another DVD ISO and I got as far as inputting the password. Now it's showing that it's installing the packages. I didn't do any CRC/MD5 check. I spent all that time last night for nothing. Something simple. SON OF A MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Jared. I feel much better now. Maybe I should go get some sleep now. lol!
Stand by for the final conclusion.
Spoke too soon! It got all the way to completion then this popped up:

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Centos is the only OS I can't seem to install in my VMware Workstation 10.
I have Win 2008, 12, Ubuntu 14, Red Hat and now I'm having issues with Centos. First time ever having problems. I haven't went to bed yet. I can't figure the Unknown errors I get out. Originally I tried to install it on the same drive I had with the others. Then I moved it to C:. I tried both DVD and Everything ISOs. Everything ISO goes as far as allowing me to input a root password and then tells me that an Unknown error has occured. DVD ISO won't even load up. I tried mapping a drive to read from. WTFreak!!!!

I'm sure you already found this but here are install documents - http://partnerweb.vmware.com/GOSIG/CentOS_7.html

Looks fairly straight forward, could you get a screenshot of the error?

      Here is my Centos headache:

Well for some reason Centos isn't being too friendly as I am trying to install it on my VMware 10. I've tried Everything ISO and DVD ISO and all I get are errors or fail. Any suggestions.
      Feeling kinda sad now.

@thanksaj You think doing something creepy for money (lots of legit jobs are kind of creepy) is equal to wanting to be the wife of a serial killer just because you really like serial killers? I'll take wanting money over loving serial killing any day.

Working in a morge is a creepy job. CSI clean up after a murder is a serious creepy job. Whew!

I saw this yesterday and gave a facepalm type sigh for two reasons.

      • First off who would want to see that vile excuse for a human on display?
        secondly
      • Just another gold digger, granted she's going about it differently but still.

Can't the media just let him rot in prison?

nadner you have to remember, there is a crowd for every scenario. Imagine how you would sound talking about selling water before it became popular. What's so bad about it...we play into it as well. lol!

Never has the phrase "she only wants me for my body" been as true as it is today. Charles Manson ends engagement after learning that his fiancee only wants him for his corpse.

Wholly! Now that's some deep ish figuratively. That means that broad tends to kill'm and collect insurance while making money off his corps. 3 way pay out right there. Wow!

Oh, you have installed actual RHEL. Don't do this. CentOS is the name of RHEL when it is free. You can't use "real" RHEL without paying for it, even for learning. You must switch to CentOS.

Do CentOS function like RHEL if I should ever have to work on a server with RHEL? I don't want to be caught off guard.
Thank you again Scott for your guidance.

CentOS is the FOSS version of RHEL. Basically it takes all of the FOSS components and rebrands them as CentOS.

Coliver you know I had to Google FOSS right? I hope I didn't lose my geek card for that. lol! Thank you both for that insight. So, even though it may be old, keeping the RHEL 6.4 for the sake of learning it is a waste? Just throw it away altogether?

I'm familiar with Linux in general just really rusty due to not working with it in a while. Plus, as I mentioned earlier I was just trying to follow the vid step by step.
I was informed by a special mentor that Linux is the way to go. Therefore I'm trying to get a tighter grip on it to be ready for the request of it all.
Thank you again Scott for your guidance on the matter.

@StrongBad See I'm trying to follow a video tutorial and I'm just trying to follow it verbatim. However, I guess it's a matter of different versions of OS. I'm working with Red Hat 6.4 within VMware workstation 10. The video speak of an editor called emacs that I can't find. I'm thinking I need to add a special package to it. Then my VM is stating that I need to subscribe my Red Hat to do any update, but I get a error message stating that I'm not associated with any organization.
If anyone has any suggestion to work around this dilemma I would appreciate it. I really would like to learn this OS. Thank you Scott and the rest of my Mangolassi family for being gentle with my ignorance.

In Advance, Thank you so much,
      Student of life.

Hey Scott. I want to thank you as well as the rest of you guys for your help thus far. Guys to be honest, the book thing isn't for me. Unless I'm in school and or I have to do it, I don't' want to be bothered. Reason being is, sometimes in books things are explained in such a way that if you're not familiar with the procedures, you may not understand what's explained. With the video you can watch what's being done as well as understand what they are explaining. Besides, one man's technical lingo may be another man's Achilles' heel. Whaaa? Exactly! lol!
Therefore, if any of you know of or come across some videos that are set up in CBT Nugget or Lynda format that would be great. I'm surprise that neither of the two I just mentioned didn't have anything on Red Hat.

@MattSpeller thank you. I'm a bit rusty with linux due to not using it in a while, but I'm building me a LAB and my computer BiG brother told me that Linux is the way to go. Therefore, I want to sharpen my skills on different Linux servers. I have Xen, Redhat...etc
I just need some video Tutorials to help speed up the refreshing part. lol!
