Found a metal rod with a grip outside of my place that had to have been brought there by someone. I'm going to setup an IP security camera with a live stream I think.

I bought a 65 inch 4k TV, saved $100. It replaced my 50 inch 1080p TV. Mounting it this weekend.

@WrCombs build a home lab and include it on your resume. I created a ton of web servers (nextcloud, rocketchat, nodebb, plex, zabbix, zimbra, bookstack etc) and brought a laptop to show them what they are while providing use cases for each. Who cares if you list something on a piece of paper when you can literally show them what you built and explain it to them.

Laura and I were driving to work today and there was traffic. A cop car drove by and she said in the most monotone voice "There's been an incident". I couldn't stop laughing at how matter of fact she was about it. It's the little moments where I'm reminded of how great she really is.

So today is the first day that the City decided to tighten up their content filtering. No YouTube, streaming media service (video/music), etc. When I tell you not only the sheer volume of complaints I've received today and the TYPES of complaints it's absolutely ludicrous.

User 1: "I'm gonna take a deep breath INTENSE DEEP BREATHING"

User 2: "I can't access YouTube or Facebook"
Me: Okay just put in a formal request and CC your supervisor. If he agrees that you need access to it we will provide it.
User 2: "This is ridiculous. What am I supposed to do all day?"
Me: .....?

I'd love to walk but someone starting shooting at cops yesterday on center street (2 mins away from me) and is currently holding a hostages.

This logic is all wrong.

Why would this mean you cannot walk. The area has more policed coverage now than normal.

The known shooter is not running around, they are contained with hostages.

There is a war going on with the police in this area in general. My co-workers won't walk to lunch when it's nice out. It's a bad area (apparently). @BRRABill would know.

The US has a coding system so that people know where is nice and where is dangerous. There is a total avoid code, NJ.
