You are planning to travel every year to new destinations and you have not any Camera except Mobile camera, this is very shocking for me. You have to buy any Point and shoot camera.

For deciding which point and shoot camera is good for you, I would like to share one article with you. Here is article link http://www.gadgetreview.com/best-point-and-shoot-digital-camera Using this review article you can easily decide which point and shoot camera is the best for your use.

According to me you should not buy drone because of Drone is very expensive and most of the countries are not allowing you to to use drone as you already said.

One option is there, when you need drone, you can hire it on rent. This is the best option for you.

Thanks for sharing the link. I am about to start travelling to different destinations from this year, so till that time the phone camera was sufficient, and i already got the camera, Canon SX60.

    • How to remove EFI partition from MAC

Today I tested Windows 10 on my iMAC as bootcamp, just to see how this runs on a mac without using virtualisation. Installed, configured and boot up. After Windows installation, and after login, you need to install the bootcamp drivers to detect sound, bluetooth, wifi etc. So I installed the drivers and during the drivers installation, got the sweet bsod! 🙂

Restarted the mac, checked again but Windows got corrupted for some reason, did a refresh and tried the bootcamp drivers again, ended up with same BSOD. Seems like bootcamp drivers are not compatible with W10 yet, at least the latest build. Now that, it was not working, I wanted to remove the partition, but unable to do so. After booting to MAC, disk utility says it cannot modify the EFI partition, and a search got me this. http://www.mede8erforum.com/index.php/topic,14019.0.html

Never knew that disk utility has an advanced option. Followed the procedure and was able to remove all partitions and keep the MAC as 1 single partition as it used to be! Will wait or the public release of W10, again to test on bootcamp!

    • Internet access through OpenVPN

I configured an Ubuntu box with openvpn. I am able to connect from the client to the vpn server, but would also like to route traffic through the server.

On the OpenVPN conf, I've set push "redirect-gateway def1 bypass-dhcp" also set DNS to openDNS IPs.

Is this could be a firewall issue? Haven't used Ubuntu much, but as I read i though it was ufw, but when I try to disable ufw to test it says command not found. Same with iptables too.

    • RE: Internet access through OpenVPN

      Fixed!

All i had to do is to add the IPtables entry
      iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.8.0.0/24 -j SNAT --to xxx.xx.xx.xx (ServerIP)

Now connected and internet routing through VPN 🙂

    • RE: Internet access through OpenVPN

      Found it.
      First run the iptables entry
      iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 10.8.0.0/24 -j SNAT --to xxx.xx.xx.xx

Then run sudo apt-get install iptables-persistent, and follow the prompts. When it asks to save the current rules, hit "Yes" at both prompts. Now, on reboots, your iptables rules will be restored.
      All done, working fine! 🙂

    • Do you track medical records?

As the subject says, anyone tracks their medical records and family members?

I am looking for something that can be used to track our medical records for both me and my wife. Ideally a web service+ an app which works for both android and iphone where you can either upload the report or type in key details like blood reports, cholesterol levels etc. I was checking on Microsoft healthvault but looks like no app connectors are available. Still checking but thought i would ask ML

    • RE: Do you track medical records?

Each hospital here has their own system and our yearly insurance renewal sometimes covers some hospitals and next time they might not. We as of now don't have a specific hospital that we go. Just started this year with adetailed health check and thought its a good idea to keep this saved somewhere handy for future reference.
