    • Outlook repeated prompt for password

Working with several people of late with Outlook and their Office 365 account, having many report repeated issues with having the password prompt come up.

They are able to sign into the portal fine, so it's not a password issue. things done:

      • cleared the cached creds
      • recreated profile
      • used the MS O365 SARA tool

Has anyone seen this of late? I have five going on more people dealing with this.

Huh - well that wasn't as difficult as I expected. But it's just a base line, and nothing special done.

Just finished setting up a VM and doing a WDS setup of Windows 10. Now,.. lets see if I can capture it and repeat.

    • Ubiquiti Access Point Missing

Working on trying to find six access points onsite without being a ceiling monkey. The controller isn't finding them, and while I have run an IP scan, I don't believe that the UBNT APs respond to ping requests.

Is there any way to make them want to call home? they have been reset (power cycled) already.

    • Using dpkg to install on Raspberry Pi

Trying to install the WSPR - Weak Signal Propagation Report software on the rPi3 and running into a small error.

      pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo dpkg --instdir=. -i wspr_2.00r1714_i386.deb
dpkg-deb: error: `wspr_2.00r1714_i386.deb' is not a debian format archive
dpkg: error processing archive wspr_2.00r1714_i386.deb (--install):
subprocess dpkg-deb --control returned error exit status 2
      Errors were encountered while processing:
       wspr_2.00r1714_i386.deb

Pretty sure @scottalanmiller (or others) can spot the issue in a moment,.. but I'm not seeing it.

Downloading the package doesn't take long, as it's only about 2MB.

    • RE: what windows server should I choose for Active directory?

While Server 2008 is still in use, there is no reason to go back that far in history for AD.

You need to be looking at 2012 or 16.

Also, if you can - set up HyperV for your AD -

      Tomo battery charger

Using four 18650 batteries pulled for 'dead' laptop packs.

The little (uncased) board is a Yeeco 2577 DC DC Boost Converter

Charging a Baofeng HT which needs 10-12volts .

Last week I charged my iPhone off that Tomo four times before using it here,.. Ran for about 30 minutes before the battery voltage dropped to low.

Hey, getting me to use the Linux CLI is a step forward,.. I know (a few of) the commands now,.. while I just may no recall the context. I was able to find the mount that was at 100% usage yesterday using df -h... so that is a move forward..
