and a few other things.... sigh.. And that' is just outside,.. just as long a list for inside.

Glad I'm not the only one with a big list like that. Buy a house, they said. It'll be fun, they said... :upside-down_face:

Yea,.. like I said,.. that list doesn't include the interior stuff or:

• Truck Maintenance
• Ham Radio projects including Antenna builds
• basketball pad and goal...

Like most of us, we still have a Windows 10 VM ready for use.

Meh - I may find the need for a Win10 VM,.. but right now,.. 98% of what I need is browser based... Skype, Telegram, and a few toher things are cross platform... so all good.

Just gotta get use to DNF and not Apt-GET...... sigh.

We are home - so that is good. he can rest for a bit, and I can get better sleep (cold floor is not recommended..)

About to get the day one... or at least try.. lots to do,.. little energy with not sleeping well... sigh. sad to say--- I removed the NTG email from my phone yesterday. Though it's still on my iPad, and desktop. Need to create some filters and what not.

I need to bounce some ideas off of @scottalanmiller and crew on avenues of communications. which to keep so I'm not flooded with the day to day stuff - though for this week I must just keep just that.

don't get discouraged - Don't look at it as a failure, but what didn't work and move on. I would to add that you can contact them and see what skills were light and what you could improve on, and also what they liked.

There was a time or two in my past 30 year employment history that I was out of work for almost two years... it was a battle - but it paid off in the end.

ugh - left at 7am ... and while my service ticket was finished by about 3 - it's still a two hour drive back... only to sit down and get called out since the kid forgot his baseball gear in the truck..

-sigh,..so now I get to do the paper work I wanted to do three hours ago.

I'm enjoying this,.. and it's in line with things I have wanted to do (Emergency Management Support)... but there are days... that I do miss working for @NTG - @scottalanmiller, @Romo, @pchiodo, @Karlita - et all..

Laptop..

Desktop speakers have an AUX input.. so can run PC and Alexa audio at the same time.. neato..

That was what I was thinking also... that and a REAL NIC. Ports you don't see on most laptops in this day...

Right now,.. default is Win 10 Pro. But,... I'll likely go Ubuntu with it. Will have to see. I don't have time to futz with it to much this weekend as it's Field Day weekend. I'll be up and going about 8-9am tomorrow morning and not 'stop' till about 4pm Sunday. And lots to do before getting set up.
