Isn't it great we live in a world where printer ink costs more than human blood...

Firmware update for HP printers bans third-party ink

      Sept 20, 2016
Printer companies and third-party cartridge manufacturers (and refillers) have a long, fraught relationship. Recently, HP added another problem to the mix. The printer maker introduced a tweak to its firmware that caused HP printers to reject third-party ink cartridges.

This isn’t some freak accident that can be corrected by reloading an unrecognized cartridge. It’s very real. “The purpose of this update is to protect HP’s innovations and intellectual property,” HP said in a statement to the BBC.

    • CloudatCost: Disk space

This is a question that doesn't appear in the FAQ section.

Each plan allows for (x) about of disk space. What if you need additional storage - what is the cost per GB if you should exceed your (x) plan or if you want more than your plans limit?

Uptime in friendly numbers, rather than seconds, would be nice, too.

What? You don't want to figure out what 4829383 seconds is in terms up of days, hours, minutes and seconds? Here I thought everyone enjoyed that math.

Can't we convert it to a Star Date?

Yea,.. we could go back and forth on this for a while.. so ... lets leave it. Both have their merit. While paper is falling out, it still has it's place.

Does it really, though? Bad for the environment, high in cost, more and more expensive to produce with less and less benefit.

There is cost to both, and cuastic chemical as well.

They use bleach and such to brighten paper, but what do they use to etch the PC boards for computers, batteries with lead, and other heavy metals.

Like I said,... we could go back and forth on this for quite a while..

And yes,.. Paper (different form) still has it's place. unless you want to use the Three Sea Shells

How does this effect the name.nk2 in Outlook? I'm guessing that people using Outlook and not OWA will still have the old addresses in name.nk2 and might still be sending email to the wrong address.

I'd say yes that is true.

However I am of the understanding that the name.nk2 files has been retired in Office 2013 and forward.

Not something I've followed or dev'ed into though.

Is there a rogue service attempting to use this user account? Is the profile being locked (AD style) or just the password is being expired and having to be reset every time they login?

It tells her the password is wrong, and she has to go through the password reset routine each time she logs in. It's a user created within SodiumSuite.

Ah - Make sure the Organization is in all CAPS, user lower, password as typed
