I forget where we last discussed this. Is anyone planning on doing any talks on Salt?
That would be a good session -

@scottalanmiller
Yes,.. there is a nice YeaLink phone sitting here next to me.
I looked that them a few months ago - But could not determine how I would benefit from it.
How about a write up on that, how you got started, what you use it for.. how it helps.
Cycling up the hardware for the day. Having doughnuts and water.... ran out of Mountain Dew.... I might have to take a few and run down the road for at least one!
Catching up on posts here - ....
Oh - and listening to NPR
My system shut down for some odd reason today,.. in looking over the event log, I see the normal this and that.
One of the items is:
Faulting application start time: 0x01d0b26dc6a4a844
Well I see the event logged time, but what does this mean? Is there a way to convert it?
Simple enough,.. You can do a bit of math or you can you a simple PowerShell command.
get-date 0x01d0b26dc6a4a844

Don't know how useful it is,... since it is shown in the event log, but was interesting way to learn a new PS cmdlet.

And a cookie... though are they a biscuit?
One of the very few things that either side of my family will EVER agree on is that when sitting down to an afternoon cuppa, one enjoys a biccy. Not biscuit, cookie, or baked good. Proper high tea can involve sandwiches and other little bites, but the rules are different and much more involved. It's a whole event.
Make mine earl grey, double bergamot, whole leaf - steeped 3 minutes.
One can take these things too seriously, but I am a product of my heritage.
I find that a proper cup of tea is quite relaxing. While I view a proper cup far from the English version,... It's not powered, microwaved or out of some instant do-dad.
I am moving more toward less 'processed' tea options. ... I have Yerba Mate on the experiment list. But I have some block tea, and 'Gunpowder' tea -
Proper brewing makes the difference....
I've always had good support from the Dell line, and tend to gravitate more towards the OptiPlex and Latitude lines. Even for home use.

At work, I swear if we get anymore rain were gonna have to build an Ark! More rain all day today, places here look like ponds.
Waiting to hear back from a job I applied for......fingers crossed.
Best of luck to you.

@BMarie is the levee gonna break?
Not so much the levee thankfully... but we did have a local road wash out,.. and there have been mud slides we are not accustom to. We are starting the Spring off to a abnormally high accumulation of rain.
Back from the Dr. - apparently I will live to pay a few more bills. Try that again in a year...
I just submitted a support request to them. I linked back to this thread -

See if you can convince the Queen to all you the use of her scepter while you are there..Oh yeah wonder if I can pack that in my carry on?
TSA might have issue with.. 'being used as a weapon'.. which is why I suggested borrowing hers. Can check thought.
Looking at a multi-site client PBX system for some issues regarding phones at one site dropping registration.
timeline
14 Aug 2015: Firewall replaced
15-16Aug 2015: Issues with new FW update and corrected
18Aug 2015 physical onsite done
When the switch was power cycled, all the phones connected to the PBX. Phone use / access has been up and down since.
Phones have been factory reset and configured. Phones will stay registered for (x) period of time at which point they will fail to register again. However, the switch was remotely cycled this morning and those phones are showing in the PBX as active ($ sip show peers).
PBX IP tables have been cleared, phones reconfigured, tcpdump files taken. A phone that registers now, may lose that registration at some random (x) minutes from when it registered and rebooting the phone does not reconnect.
We've had a number of people investigate this, but at this point we are no closer to resolving this then when I was on site last week.
Some speculation that it is an issue with the Switch, new Firewall or the service provider (ComCast). However some phones work and some don't, and it does seem to be random.

That's AWESOME - and congrats!
Now, for a Mangolassi Community request: Make sure you work in the word "Khan" somewhere in the interview, ok?
Epic...Meow you replace can with Khan...and see how long it takes for him to realize it.
Will have to take a look at it. Might abuse my CloudatCost for it,.. it just sits there anyway.
@thecreativeone91
Me thinks they have a recruiter job open. Because she certainly isn't doing it correctly.
Ouch.
